Our Process
At Rising Above ABA, we're striving to make life more meaningful for children, no matter their age, race, or background. Our mission is to help children feel more connected.

1. Intake
The first step is to contact us so we can walk you through an intake consultation. Our team will ask you for basic information as well as ask you what your reason for seeking treatment is and what type of support you’re looking for.

2. Benefit Checks
We will then determine if your child is eligible for our services. This includes verifying your insurance benefit for ABA therapy and sending us a copy of your child’s diagnostic report with a recommendation for ABA services.

3. Authorization-Assessment
Once our team verifies eligibility and determines we are the right program for you, we will request authorization from your insurance to conduct an initial assessment for your child. Once your insurance approves the assessment, we will schedule your first appointment with one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). They will explain the evaluation process, interview you, and spend time with your child to develop an individualized treatment plan based on their observations and your input.

4. Therapy
Finally we will notify you when we receive authorization from your insurance to begin services and begin your treatment with Rising Above.

5. Review and Submission
Once complete, your BCBA will review your child’s treatment plan with you and ensure that you are in agreement with the proposed goals and services. After your approval, your child’s treatment plan is submitted to your insurance for authorization of services.
