Our Process
FAQs
What are the main steps in the ABA treatment process at Rising Above ABA?
Our structured onboarding process begins with an initial intake call and insurance verification, followed by a comprehensive clinical assessment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Based on this evaluation, the BCBA designs an individualized treatment plan tailored to your child’s unique needs and pairs your family with a dedicated therapist to begin sessions.
How do you determine which ABA program is right for my child?
During the initial clinical assessment, your BCBA evaluates your child’s developmental strengths, communication level, social skills, and daily routine. From there, we recommend a customized care plan selecting from our specialized ABA therapy programs such as our focused Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) for young children, to ensure optimal progress.
Where do therapy sessions take place during treatment?
Care delivery is flexible based on your child's clinical needs and your family's preferences. Treatment can take place directly in your home, out in the community to practice real-world scenarios, or at our state-of-the-art Norwell ABA Center in Norwell, MA.
How long does it take from the first call to starting our child's first session?
While many providers across Massachusetts have three-month waitlists, our intake team works efficiently to complete benefit verification, initial assessments, and plan design as quickly as possible. Our goal is to move your family from initial contact to your child's first therapy session in approximately six weeks.
