A clear path toward independence
As teens move through middle and high school and toward adulthood, the goals change — and so does the support. This program helps adolescents build real-life independence, work readiness, and advanced social skills, with the coaching they need to manage routines, make safe choices, and prepare for life after high school.

1. Assess strengths & goals
A BCBA identifies where your teen is and where they’re headed.

2. Learn in the community
Skills are practiced where they’re actually used.

3. Add 1:1 as needed
Individual support layered in where it helps most.

4. Plan the transition
Caregiver coaching aligned with transition and independence goals.
Preparing for a confident, independent future
- Adaptive daily living skills — money management, cooking, transportation training.
- Vocational and pre-employment skills — scheduling, punctuality, workplace communication.
- Social expansion — friendships, self-advocacy, safe use of technology and social media.
- Transition planning — post-secondary, vocational, and independent-living goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens when my teen ages out of typical ABA programs?
This program is built for exactly that stage. We focus on transition planning toward adulthood — vocational readiness, independent living, and advanced social skills — with learning that happens primarily in the community where these skills are used, plus ongoing BCBA oversight.
Where are you located, and do you offer in-home therapy?
Our center is at 70 Accord Park Drive in Norwell, MA, serving the South Shore, Boston metro, and North Shore. Depending on the program, we also provide ABA therapy in your home, in the community, and via telehealth.
Do you take insurance?
Yes. Rising Above ABA is in-network with MassHealth and most major commercial insurers in Massachusetts. Our intake team will verify your benefits and walk you through any out-of-pocket costs before you start — no surprises.
How long is the waitlist?
Most families wait far less with us than the three-month waitlists common across Massachusetts. Our goal is to move you from first contact to your child’s first session in about six weeks.
