Getting Started at the Norwell Center
Our intake process is designed to move quickly and keep your family informed at every step:
● 1. Intake: contact us for an initial consultation. We'll ask about your child's needs and what kind of support you're looking for.
● 2. Benefit Checks: we verify your insurance benefits and request your child's diagnostic report.
● 3. Authorization & Assessment: once eligibility is confirmed, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) meets your family and child to build an individualized treatment plan.
● 4. Therapy Begins: once your insurance authorizes services, we begin treatment at the Norwell Center, in your home, or both.
● 5. Review & Submission: your BCBA reviews the treatment plan with you before it's submitted to your insurance for ongoing authorization.
Most families move from first call to their child's first Norwell Center session in approximately six weeks, well ahead of the three-month-plus waitlists common elsewhere in Massachusetts.
